I was born and raised on the prairies of Western Canada. Without the distractions of mountains and oceans, I learned to look at things in a different way, to look for interesting expressions, situations, shapes, patterns, colours, and shadows. These elements could be found anywhere and everywhere: in people, scenery, buildings, plants, and just about anything that can cast a shadow.
I enjoy photographing people the most because there is an endless variety with an endless number of stories. Although people are of most interest to me I also enjoy vacation, landscape and still life photography.
The limits to one’s photography are most often not the equipment. Good photographers with an eye for the unusual can take great photos with any camera. Seeing and composing are the key. It is a lifelong learning experience. Take your photogrpahy to the next level by having fun.
